Tasmanian Load Carrying Vehicle Pilot and Escort Guideline

Tasmania recognises VicRoads Certified Pilots and currently has a three tier, risk-based approach for OSOM vehicle movements, depending on the requirements of the load:

  • industry-supplied pilots,
  • certified pilots
  • authorised officers providing escorts.
