To obtain your Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence, you need to complete the following 5 units of competency from any National Registered Training Organisation (RTO):
TLIB0002: Carry out vehicle inspection
TLIC3010: Pilot or escort oversized and/or overmass loads
TLIE3009: Use pilot and escort communication
TLIF3013: Coordinate breakdowns and emergencies
TLIF3060: Control traffic as a pilot vehicle operator
Additionally, to obtain a WA Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence, you must complete the requirements for Bridge Video Supervision. The authorised providers for Bridge Video Supervision are:
If you currently hold a heavy vehicle pilot licence with another state/territory/authority, you may be eligible for a shorter training course, within the 1st 12 months of original training completion.

Most States have Training Providers that run courses to comply with attaining your Pilot’s License, Certification or Level 1 or 2.
Some Training Providers may travel to your location for a Group Training.
